About ME
My name is David Phillips and I'm the second generation of my family to embark upon the shoe repair business having established by own shop on Canvey Island in 1991.
I am from a strong tradition of family cobblers with my grandfather and father in the business which started in the 1950s.
I'm passionate about carrying on the tradition and values associated with the shoe repair craft and business and have passed this passion to my son Tom who has his own shop in Benfleet. See www.thebenfleetcobbler.com
